David concentrates his practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Contract Law, and Casualty/Liability Defense, and Commercial Landlord/Tenant Disputes. Additionally, David is experienced in arbitration, mediation and appellate matters.

Before joining O’Rourke, Hogan, Fowler & Dwyer, David served as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in both the Special Prosecutions Bureau and the Civil Actions Bureau. While assigned to the Special Prosecutions Bureau, David coordinated felony investigations related to public corruption, financial crimes and gang crimes and also tried numerous jury and bench trials, including complex financial crimes and murder jury trials. While assigned to the Civil Actions Bureau, David defended governmental employees in cases related to federal civil rights, torts, medical malpractice and employment disputes. David tried several torts and civil rights jury trials in state court and federal court where he defended governmental employees and governmental entities.
